- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 1 1/2 cups water, juice from lemon, 1/2 cup honey.
- 1 1/2 2 1/4 3/4 1 3/4 cups sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 3/4 cups mini choc. chips, 1 lb. phyllo dough sheets, 3/4 lb. unsalted melted butter.

SYRUP: Medium saucepan over high heat, combine the sugar, water & lemon juice. Bring to boil & boil 10 minutes. Gradually add the honey, simmer 5 minutes. Remove & cool to room temp.
BAKLAVA: Preheat oven 325. Grease 9 x 13 pan. Medium bowl combine ground nuts, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and choc. chips. Use 15 - 17 sheets phyllo dough, line bottom of pan, brush eat sheet with butter. Sprinkle half nut mixture over dough then dough then mixture until pan is full and the top is phyllo dough sheets. Use sharp knife, score top of baklava to form 1" squares/diamonds. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown. Slowly pour cooled syrup over hot baklava. Serve room temperature.
