Ingredients
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 lb large shrimp, uncooked
- 1 t black pepper
- lime wedges for serving
- 3/4 t salt
- 3/4 t sugar
- 4 scallions, white & light green parts only, sliced diagonally
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in wok over med-high heat. Add garlic; cook, stirring constantly, until golden, about 2 minutes. Add shrimp; cook stirring constantly, until shrimp are opaque, about 5 minutes. Add pepper, salt & sugar; cook, stirring constantly, 30 seconds. Stir in scallions. Garnish with more scallions (green parts) & serve with lime wedge.
