Ingredients
- 1 lb Fresh Mushroom
- 1/2 Cup Flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 egg seperated
- 1/3 Cup Milk
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 5 Cup Corn Flake
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Beat egg yolk, add milk, and then dry ingredients. Beat egg white till foamy mixture, add sugar and beat till stiff but not dry. Fold into flour-egg mixture. Dip mushrooms into batter. Roll in crushed corn flakes. Drop into hot wesson oil and cook til gloden brown. About 1 min. A sauce pan can be used instead of a deep fryer. This takes lesss wesson oil and can fry about 8 mushrooms at a tome. Mushrooms may be frozen on a cookie sheet after rolled in corn flakes and used later.
