Ingredients
- #1 - 8 tbsp. unsalted butter, 1 cup dark brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/2 tsp.
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- #2 - 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, pinch of salt
- #3 - 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup chocolate chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8" square with butter. Line bottom and sides with tin foil, extending 2" over sides.
Place butter in large mixing bowl & beat until fluffy. Add #1 & beat 2/3 minutes. Add vanilla. Beat. Add #2, beat quickly, batter will be stiff. Stir in #3, scrape into pan and smooth on top.
Bake 30 minutes exactly, Cool 4 hours.
