Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 2 T rapid rise yeast
- 1 c warm water
- 1/2 t sea salt
- 1 1/2 T honey
- 1/3 c olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle yeast on top of warm water and allow to sit while you prepare other ingredients.
Combine flour and sea salt in a bowl of stand mixer or food processor.
Slowly drizzle in olive oil, then honey, then yeast and water mix.
combine until forms a soft ball.
Drizzle olive oil into a glass or metal bowl, being sure to cover the sides of the bowl.
Remove dough ball from mixer and place into prepared bowl.
Cover with a damp cloth and place in a 200 degree oven for about 10 min or doubled in size.
Remove from oven and punch down. Cover gain with damp cloth and return to 200 degree oven. Allow to rise again, aprox 30 min.
Remove from oven and place dough on pan lightly dusted with corn meal. Top with favorite toppings and bake in oven for approx. 20 min or until crust is golden brown.
