Omega-3 Chocolate Ice Cream 1 Picture


  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon nama shoyu (or soy sauce)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 cups milk

Step 1

Step 1: Melt coconut oil and mix in blender with honey until smooth. This step is important, because if the coconut oil becomes hardened before it is incorporated into the honey, there will be chunks of fat in the ice cream.

Step 2: Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Pour into the pail of your ice cream maker and churn until frozen.

This ice cream is better if it sits overnight before you eat it. This helps the avocado flavor to dissipate.
