Al's fresh turkey was the best turkey ever BBQ'd this way!!

Ingredients

  • Prepare turkey as we always have
  • Rub outside with oil
  • Sprinkle with cajun seasoning (under and on top of skin)

Preparation

Step 1

Smoke for 1 hour

Increase heat to 325 degrees.

170 degrees for the breast
180 degrees for the thigh

A 18# turkey took 4 hours
