Bonbon Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
• 2 Tbsp milk
• 1 - 2 Tbsp. colored sugar.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325*
Combine butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes. Add vanilla,; beat until combined.
Gradually beat in flour until a dough forms. Shape dough into 1" balls; place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.

Bake cookies until bottoms are lightly golden, 20-25 minutes. remove cookies from baking sheets; place on wire racks to cool completly.

Combine confectioners sugar and milk in small bowl; stir until smooth. Stir in food coloring until desired color is reached Place wire racks over waxed paper. Drizzle glaze on tops of cookies. Decorate with colored sugars.
