  • ◦12 corn tortillas
  • ◦2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ◦kosher salt, to taste
  • ◦onion powder, optional
  • ◦garlic powder, optional
  • ◦chili powder, optional
  • ◦white pepper, optional



Step 1

Preheat oven to 400º F.

Place your corn tortillas one on top of the other in a large stack and use a sharp knife to cut the stack into 4-6 equal slices.

Spread tortilla triangles out on 2 baking sheets (making sure to leave at least a 1/2-inch between them) and brush them with olive oil.

Sprinkle chips generously with salt and your choice of other seasoning, then place in oven and bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown. Note: during the last few minutes of cooking, check frequently to make sure they don’t burn.

Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
