BELGIAN WAFFLES (Mom)

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat waffle maker. Put all ingredients, except egg whites in a large bowl. Beat on low speed until moistened. Increase speed to medium, mix until smooth. By hand, gently fold in beaten egg whites.

Pour 1/3 cup batter over grids. Bake 2-3 minutes.
