Ingredients
- 12 Red Peppers
- 12 Green Peppers
- 15 Medium Onions
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 small jar yellow mustard
- 3 Tbs. salt
- 1 pint vinegar 1 tsp tumeric
- 1/2 cup flour (mixed with a little water)
Preparation
Step 1
Boil Water. Grind Peppers. Put boiling water over peppers. Let stand for 5 minutes then drain. Grind onions. Do not put water over these. Peppers, onions, sugar, mustard, salt, and vinegar for 10 minutes stirring continuously then add tumeric. Add flour mixture and boil for 1 more minute. Pack in sterilized jars. Put caps into a small pan of water and boil. Seal Jar.
