Russian Teacakes

Makes about 4 dozen 1" cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Soft butter
  • 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 3/4 c. Finely chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Sift together flour and salt; stir in. Mix in nuts. Chill dough. Heat oven to 400*. Roll dough into 1" balls. Place on un greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until set but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
