Baked French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf french bread, cut into 1 1/2" thick slices
  • 1/2 cup soft margarine
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 t salt
  • cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs and add milk and salt.
Saturate bread slices in egg mixture.
Spread margarine in a flat coolie sheet. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over margarine.
Place bread on the cookie sheet.
Bake 20-24 minutes at 350.
Serve hot with sour cream, jam, syrup, or applesauce.
