Brining a turkey adds flavor that is absorbed into the meat
and keeps the meat very moist and tender.

Ingredients
- The following may be added as desired for flavor:
- Ice
- 1 cup Kosher salt
- 2 gal. H2O
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. pepper corns - colored?
- 1 1/2 cups burbon or whiskey
- 1/2 tbsp. All Spice berries
- 1/2 tbsp. Candied ginger
- Garlic Thyme
- Bay Leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Mix all spices in water.
In a medium cooler spread 1/3 of ice cubes on bottom
Add turkey. Spread rest of ice on turkey.
Pour spiced water on top to cover turkey.
Cover cooler and let set over night.
Remove turkey the following morning and bake as you wish.
