Basil-Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil*
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup canola oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Whisk together first 8 ingredients in a small bowl; gradually add canola oil in a slow, steady stream, whisking until blended.

*2 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano may be substituted.
