Creamy Italian Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless, chicken breast halves
  • 1 envelope dry Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can cream of chicken or celery soup
  • 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces, drained (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Place chicken in crock pot. Combine salad dressing and water and pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on Low for 3 hours.
In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms (optional). Pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on Low 1 more hour.
Serve with hot noodles.
