Beef, Spaghetti and Bacon Casserole

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. spaghetti, or elbows
- 6 slices BAcon (I use Turkey Bacon)
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms ( 2 2-oz cans)
- 1 lb. ground beef (I use Turkey)
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook pasta in boiling salted water.
Fry bacon until partially cooked. Add onion and mushrooms and cook about 5 minutes longer. Stir in the ground meat, and cook until browned. Add soup, water and seasonings. Place half of pasta in a well greased casserole dish. Cover with half of the sauce. sprinkle with half the cheese. Repeat using remaining pasta sauce and cheese. Bake in a moderate oven 375 degrees for about 20 minutes.
