Edible Magic Wands

Ingredients

  • Sugar cookie dough
  • Star shaped cookie cutter
  • Bamboo skewers
  • White frosting
  • Edible glitter and sprinkles

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out stars with cookie cutter.

Place half the stars on a cookie sheet and press a skewer into each one. Top them with the remaining stars so each skewer is sandwiched between two layers.

Bake the cookies until they are light brown on the edges, about 9 min. Allow wands to cool about 3 min on the sheet before placing them on cooling rack.

When wands are cooled, frost and decorate them.
