Chocolate Candy Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 8 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Butterfinger bits
- 1 1/4 cup mini M&M's, divided
Preparation
Step 1
Combine the dry cake mix, butter, and egg and mix until a soft dough forms. Add the cream cheese and beat again until completely mixed in. Stir in the Butterfinger bits and 1 cup mini M&M's. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Roll the dough into 24 equal balls. Press the remaining mini M&M's all around the dough balls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes. Do not over bake. Let cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to a sheet of parchment on the counter. Cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container. Makes 24 cookies.
