Milky Way Cake

Ingredients

• 6 Milky Way Bars
• 1 cup oleo softened
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon soda
• 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Melt candy bars and 1/2 cup oleo in saucepan over low heat. Cream remaining oleo and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add soda and flour alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture and beating well after each addition. Stir in melted candy bars, nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake 1 hour @ 350 degrees. Cool, then invert onto serving plate.
