Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, cut into julienne strips
  • 4 medium green onions, cut into 1” pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger root, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 14-1/2-oz. cans chicken broth
  • 2 1/2 tsp. sodium-free chicken bouillon powder
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup bean sprouts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook meat with garlic in skillet until brown. Drain.

2. Combine all ingredients except mushrooms and sprouts in slow cooker.

3. Cover. Cook on Low 7-9 hours or High 3-4 hours.

4. Stir in mushrooms and bean sprouts.

5. Cover. Cook on Low 1 hour.
