Cookies - Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Land o' Lakes Butter Recipe

Ingredients

• 4-1/4 cups flour
• 1 teas baking power
• 1 teas salt
• 1 teas soda
• 1-1/2 cups butter, softened
• 1-1/4 cup sugar
• 1-1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 Tbls. vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl and set aside. In large bowl, combine butter and sugars. Beat at medium speed. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Reduce speed to low and gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips or chunks. Drop by rounded Tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes. Let sit on cookie sheet slightly before removing to wire racks to cool.
