A family favorite! Mom made the mistake of using non-fat ingredients one time and wondered why she had leftovers. The low-fat sour cream and low-fat cheese just didn't cut it! Go for all the calories!

Ingredients

  • In 13 x 9 pan, put:
  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns (not the shredded type)
  • Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over the potatoes.
  • Mix together in a bowl, then spread over potatoes:
  • 2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Mix together in another bowl, then sprinkle over cheese mixture.
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1 stick melted butter
