  • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar, divided
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups peeled and chopped fuji apples, 2 lg
  • VANILLA GLAZE
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbl milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1

vanilla glaze - stir together all ingredients in a small bowl

preheat oven to 350. melt butter in a med saucepan over med heat. stir in brown sugar and 1/4 cup granulated sugat, cook, stirring constantly, 3 min or until sugar dissolves. remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
cut biscuits into quarters. stir together cinnamon and remaining 1 cup sugar in a med bowl; add half of biscuit pieces, tossing to coat. arrange coated pieces in a lightly greased 12 cup bundt pan; top with chopped apples. toss remaining biscuit pieces in cinnamon sugar; arrange over apples. pour butter mixture evenly over biscuits.
place bundt pan on middle oven rack and a foil-lined baking sheet on lower oven rack. bake at 350 for 45 min or until top is golden brown.
carefully invert bread onto a platter, scraping any syrup in pan over bread. let cool 10 min; drizzle with half of vanilla glaze. let stand 15 min , and drizzle with remaining glaze. serve warm.
