  • For single crust:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 3-4 Tbls. cold water
  • Double crust:
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 5-7 Tbls. cold water

Preparation

Step 1

For pie shell: Prick bottom, brush with milk, bake in 450 oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. (I bake in microwave on high for 5 minutes!)
