Manicotti - Beef Stuffed

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp fennel seed
  • 1/2 cups chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 jar (32 oz.) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 box grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Grated Velveeta Cheese



Step 1

In large skillet, saute beef, mushrooms, fennel seed and green pepper. drain off excess at. add salt and 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce and mix well.Pour small amount of spaghetti sauce in bottom of 2-quart casserole. Fill manicotti and place in dish. Spoon remaining spaghetti sauce or desired amount over filled manicotti.


Bake 350 degree oven 25-30 minutes.

Remove, cover, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. I also use Mozzarella cheese to cover the top of the casserole.

Return to oven for 5 minutes
