Cheese Frenchee

Ingredients

  • 6 slices sandwich bread
  • 6 slices American Cheese
  • Mayonnaise-type salad dressing
  • ]1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Finely crushed corn flakes (ready to eat cereal)
  • Oil or fat for deep frying

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare three sandwiches, using salad dressing as desired. Cut off crusts and diagonally slice sandwiches into quarters.

Beat together egg, milk, flour and salt.

Dip sandwich triangles in egg batter and roll in finely crushed corn flakes.

Freeze, if desired, until needed

Deep fry at 375 degrees until golden
