Ingredients

  • 1 1/2

    loaves French bread -- (1 1/2 to 2)

  • cut into 1" cubes

  • 1

    c. margarine

  • 1/2

    c. shredded mozzarella

  • 1/2

    c. grated sharp cheddar

  • 6

    oz. cream cheese

  • 1/2

    c. grated Swiss cheese

  • 1

    tsp. dry mustard

  • 1/4

    tsp. pepper and salt

  • 4

    egg whites -- beaten until stiff

Directions

Melt the butter over low heat. Stir in cheeses, mustard, salt and pepper until well blended. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Put bread cubes, one at a time into cheese mixture. I usually use a knife for fork and wipe away alot of the mixture (if you don't when you bake these you will end up with a pool of cheese). Just make sure they are coated. Put on cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen take off sheet and store in zip-lock bags until ready to serve. Bake frozen on sprayed cookie sheet, at 350 - 375 until golden brown. Serve warm.
