Cappuccino-Frosted Brownies

Ingredients

  • 4 (1 oz) unsweetened chocolate baking squares
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
  • Cappuccino Buttercream Frosting (separate recipe)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Microwave chocolate squares and butter in a large, microwave-safe bowl on high for 2.5 minutes or until melted and smooth - stirring at 30 second intervals. Stir in sugar. Add eggs, one-at-a-time, beating with spoon just until blended after each addition.
2. Stir in four and vanilla until blended. Stir in chocolate morsels. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack (~1 hour).
4. Spread Cappuccino Buttercream Frosting on top of cooled brownies. Cut into squares and serve.
