Preparation
Step 1
Make Simple Syrup:
In a small pot over medium heat, combine ½ cup sugar with ½ cup water and simmer, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
Add:
1 ounce Appleton Estate V/X Rum
1 ounce Clear Creek Apple Brandy Barrel Aged 2 Years
1 ounce lime juice
¾ ounce simple syrup
to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a coupe glass
Garnish with a lime wedge.
