Ingredients

  • 4 wild salmon fillets, about 6 ounces each, skin on
  • 3 T maple syrup
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • 1 T tamari soy sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 T green onions, finely sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a 9x13x2-inch baking pan. Heat oven to 400. Place salmon, skin-side down, in the prepared baking pan. Combine the syrup, mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice and garlic and stir until well blended. Sprinkle the fillets with salt and pepper, then spoon the maple and mustard mixture over the fillets. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes until sauce begins to caramelize and fish flakes easily with a fork. Garnish salmon with green onion.
