Ingredients
- 3 cups buttermilk baking mix
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup dates, chopped
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Combine baking mix, milk and butter in a mixing bowl; mix well.
Stir in chopped dates, grated cheese and nutmeg.
Drop mixture by large tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450°F, 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool scones on wire rack.
