Is there a perfect smoothie for gorgeous skin? You bet there is! The trick to creating a smoothie for better skin is to pack it with skin-boosting vitamins. I also recommend keeping the dairy out (because a lot of skin issues clear up when you eliminate dairy).  The most important thing to consider when feeding your skin with nutrients is to make sure that you are using fresh, organic and really good quality ingredients.
Amla is also known as Indian Gooseberry and is very, very high in Vitamin c. It is also really good for cleansing your digestive system, and is used a lot in Ayurvedic Medicine, where it is also use topically to get your skin glowing

Ingredients

  • 8 – ounces coconut water
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 Kiwi, peeled
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp – 1tbsp Amla* Powder (start with 1 tsp and see how you feel, and slowly edge up to 1tbsp.)

Simply toss all the ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth.
