Our Favorite Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspooon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup mashed, very ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup melted butter, cooled
- 3/4 cup cinnamon or mini chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Mix together dry ingredients and set aside. Mash bananas; add eggs milk, vanilla, and butter. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix. Add cinnamon or chocolate chips if desired.
Pour into greased loaf pans. (two 4x8, or three minis).
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until crust is dark brown.
