Ravioli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (25oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1/4 C butter, cuber
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp grd. nutmeg
  • 2 C milk
  • 1/4 C white wine or
  • veggie broth
  • 1/2 C minced fresh basil
  • 3 C (12oz) shredded mozzarella
  • cheese, divided
  • 3/4 C grated parmesan cheese,
  • divided
  • 2 1/2 C marinara or spaghetti sauce

Preparation

Step 1


cook ravioli according to pkg directions

meanwhile, in lg. saucepan, melt butter
stir in flour, salt & nutmeg until smooth
gradually add milk & wine
bring to boil
cook & stir for 1 min or until thickened
remove from heat
stir in basil, 1 C mozzarella & 1/4 C parmesan

drain ravioli
toss w/ sauce mixture
transfer to greased 13"X9" baking dish
top w/ 1 C mozzarella cheese & marinara sauce
sprinkle w/ remaining cheeses

cover & bake @ 375 for 30 min
uncover
bake 5-10 min longer or until bubbly
let stand for 15 min before serving
