Pork Satay

Ingredients

  • 1 jar hoisin sauce (8oz)
  • 1/2 C chili garlic sauce
  • 1/4 C honey
  • 1/4 C rice vinegar
  • 2 TBL toasted sesame oil
  • kosher salt to taste
  • 1 pork tenderloin (1LB) trimmed

Preparation

Step 1


simmer all ingredients , except pork tenderloin, over med-high heat
cook marinade 5 min, then set aside to cool

prepare pork, cutting it first into 3rds lengthwise, then in 1/2
crosswise to make 6 pieces
finally, slice each piece in half lengthwise to make 12 strips, each
4-6" long
toss pork strips in marinade
thread strips onto skewers

arrange satay on grill so skewers extend over edge
cover & cook 3-4 min
flip satay, baste w/ marinade
grill 3 min more
