Ingredients
- 10-12 C popped popcorn
- 1 C pecan halves
- 1 C slivered almonds
- 1 1/3 C sugar
- 1 C butter
- 1/2 C light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
in lg. bowl, combine popcorn & nuts - set aside.
In lg. saucepan, bring sugar, butter & corn syrup to boil.
Boil for 5 min,stirring occasionally.
remove from heat.
Add vanilla, cream of tartar & baking soda.
Drizzle over popcorn mixture to coat.
Immediately spread onto two greased baking sheets.
Let dry for abt. 1 hr.
Store in airtight container.
