Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups cooked navy beans or 2 (16-ounce) cans rinsed and drained navy beans
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken stock
Preparation

Instructions
Add bacon and onion to a medium skillet over medium heat. Cook until bacon is browned and onion is tender, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon.
Add navy beans into a medium saucepan over medium heat. Pour bacon and onions from skillet into the beans. Add thyme, black pepper and chicken stock.
Allow to simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
