Ingredients

  • 16

    oz. can pumpkin

  • 2

    TBS butter

  • 1

    medium onion, chopped

  • 2-½

    cups chicken broth

  • 1

    can cream of chicken soup

  • ¼

    tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • cup half & half

Directions

Melt butter. Cook onion until soft. Add pumpkin and broth. Bring to boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add soup. Puree with food processor. Return to pan. Stir in half & half and paprika. Season with salt and pepper. Heat slowly, stirring periodically. SERVES 6
