Warm Mixed Nutes with Rosemary and Shallots

Ingredients

  • 5 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 tbl evoo
  • 2 small shallots- thinly sliced crosswize into rings
  • 3 garlic cloves thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tbls butter
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tbl dark brown sugar
  • 1 tbl kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

heat hte oven to 350. Place the nuts in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. toast nuts until golden and fragrant and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a small skillet. Add the garlic and shallots and fry until golden: 3-5 minutes. Transfer to paper towels.

Melt the butter and pour over the nuts. Add the rosemary, cayenne, brown sugar and salt and stir well to combine. Toss the crispy garlic and shallots.

May be reheated in the oven to 300 for 10 minutes.
