Jean's Lamb Meatballs
Jean served these at our book club meeting. Delicious!
- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon gound cinnamon
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Kosher salt, but I use much less
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 bunch scallions, white and light green parts sliced
Combine all, shape mixture into golf ball size meatballs and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
Broil until cooked through, turning once, About 10 min total.
(The original recipe said 6-8 min. but that never worked for me.)
