Chocolate Cherry Cupcakes

These cherry chocolate cupcakes are cupcakes to eat not after
a meal but as a meal. Many cupcakes can be rich but these are super dense. These cherry chocolate cupcakes are chocolate boulders.

Ingredients

• Cupcake
• 1 box chocolate cake mix
• 21 oz. can pie cherries
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• Frosting
• 5 cups powdered sugar
• 1 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 cup of maraschino cherry juice
• 1 jar marachino cherries

Step 1

Cupcake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk dry ingredients in a large bowl. Place the cupcakes liners in the cupcake pan, Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full. Let bake for
25 to 30 minutes.

Frosting
Beat the butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and 1/4 cup of cherry juice. Mix till combined and smoothed.
Pipe or spread on cupcakes and top it with a cherry!
