Strawberry Nut Jello Mold

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. small strawberry jello mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 10 oz pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, slightly thawed
  • 1 15 oz can of crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 medium bananas, smashed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 pt. sour cream (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Dissolve jello in boiling water.
2. Fold in strawberries, drained pineapple, bananas, and nuts.
3. Pour 1/2 mixture into mold. Chill.
4. When firm, spread sour cream on chilled jello.
5. Pour remaining jello mixture over sour cream. Chill.

I sometimes do not put the sour cream as a layer in the mold, but instead serve it on the side.
