Ingredients
- 1 Box wild rice mix, divided
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can of potato soup
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
- 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

Step 1
Prepare rice as package directs, saving 1/2 of the cooked rice for another recipe. In soup pot, saute onion in butter. Add water, milk, and potato soup. Heat, stirring occasionally. When mixture is hot, add cheese in chunks. When creamy, add cooked wild rice. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
