Ingredients

  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh marjoram or oregano
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Step 1

Add anchovy fillets to food processor with garlic one at a time. Stop, scrape down sides of bowl and add remaining ingredients. Pulse several times. Rub paste generously over meat and let sit 1 hour to overnight before grilling.
