Ingredients
- 2-3 Lb. chuck roast
- meat tenderizer
- 2 Tbsp. A-1 sauce
- 1 Pkg. dry onion soup mix, undiluted
- 1 can golden cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
- potatoes if desired
- carrots if desired
- celery if desired
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle chuck roast with meat tenderizer. Cut foil large enough to wrap roast and vegetables loosely. Cover roast with soups, A1 sauce, and mushrooms. Arrange whole vegetables around roast. (Add about 1/2 -3/4 c. water if cooking vegetables with roast).
Wrap loosely (crimp edges of foil well so it won't leak). Place on cookie sheet or some kind of shallow pan and bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
