Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup powered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
With electric mixer, cream butter, brown sugar,egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, ginger, salt and cinnamon Blend into butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Chill until firm. Can be refrigerated overnite.
Roll dough into small balls then into powered sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet 2" apart.
Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes then move to rack. Store in an airtight container
