Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup (8 ozs) fresh mushrooms, sliced, optional
- 2 tbls vegetable oil
- 4 boneless pork chops, salt & peppered to taste (may use chops with bones)
- 1 (12 oz) jar Heinz HomeStyle Pork Gravy
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 (2.8 oz) can French Fried Onions
Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown onion & mushrooms in oil over medium-high heat on stove top until tender.
2. Add in pork chops until browned on both sides. Season with salt & pepper.
3. Transfer all to slow cooker & pour gravy over all. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
4. In last 30 minutes of cooking time, stir in sour cream.
5. Remove from slow cooker and top with French fried onions rings & serve.
