  • Ingredients:
  • Blue Ribbon 8-Hour Chili (on newer crockpots, it takes 4 hrs. on high or 8 hrs. on low)
  • Original Recipe Source by: www.cookingwithk.net
  • 3 lbs. lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 15 oz. can Ranch Style Beans
  • 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 10 oz. can Rotel Tomatoes
  • 4 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 8 green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions, minced
  • 4 whole jalapenos, fresh or canned, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup canned jalapeno juice
  • 4 tablespoons Williams Chili Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

Directions:
In a large skillet, brown ground beef with salt and pepper.

Transfer browned meat to a large Crock Pot.

Add remaining ingredients in the order as listed. Stir until mixed well.

Cook in Crock Pot on low for 8 hours. (See note below) Stirring occasionally. Serves 10-12.

Note: I cook the chili on low in my new crockpot since I posted this recipe. It seems the newer ones cook hotter than the old ones.
