Ingredients

  • Loaf of Italian Bread (crumbled the day before so it gets a little hard)
  • 1 medium sweet onion
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 1 1/2 Lb Italian sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C warm milk
  • 1/2 tsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp sage
  • 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning
  • S&P

Preparation

Step 1

Chop onion (3/4 C)
Chop celery (3/4 C)

Melt butter in frying pan, add onion & celery saute until transparent.
Crumble sausage and add to frying pan. Cook slowly until done. Drain some of the grease if there is a lot (keep 1/2 C)
Put Italian Bread in a large bowl, add eggs, seasonings and milk.
Mix and add sausage mixture. Mix well.
Stuff turkey. I make a box of Stove top and mix together before I stuff the turkey.
